Meet the Makers

We are Joy & Gareth Yoder. We originally started this small tallow business as a way to use our resources more sustainably. Animal fat is normally discarded as a by-product, but when we discovered it has huge benefits in the home, we decided to start using it ourselves and soon began offering it to others.

Our Testimony

We witnessed tallow’s gentle properties work first hand on our daughter’s eczema. We swapped out our laundry detergent and other irritants but never suspected the Johnson’s Baby Shampoo that had been gifted to us. Finally, after switching to tallow soap, the rash quickly disappeared.

Tallow is a healthier alternative to canola and vegetable oil as it promotes nutrient absorption and has anti-inflammatory properties. It also has beneficial fats like conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) which can be correlated to weight loss and heart health.
